经过韩先生的教导，德鲁明白功夫比得不是进攻与防守，而是成熟与冷静。德鲁更意识到，惩凶除恶将成为他的使命。

信息时报讯(记者王晓静)将于6月22日在国内上映的成龙新片《功夫梦》，上周五在北美率先开画。该片首映周末获得5600万美元票房，登顶北美票房榜。排名第二的新片《天龙特攻队》票房比《功夫梦》足足少了3000万美元。有影迷欣喜表示，“年迈”的成龙又红回美国了！
《功夫梦》中，成龙成为“宗师”、好莱坞“票房之王”威尔·史密斯之子贾登·史密斯饰演徒弟，这对充满创意的组合让人很是好奇。而威尔·史密斯对儿子和成龙的合作也是十分上心，在筹备拍摄期间、影片拍摄期间多番现身片场，在首映时更是带着妻子和另一个孩子来华助阵。因此也有影迷认为，成龙此番能在好莱坞成功“回归”，很大原因也是借了威尔·史密斯的东风。此外，成龙在片中一改近年来在《功夫之王》、《邻家特工》等片中的过分嬉闹的形象。成龙在《功夫梦》中成了深不可测的世外高人，同时也是主角的人生导师。“JackieChan”的这一转变也让美国观众相当好奇，多少对《功夫梦》的票房带来推动作用。
从1980年至今，成龙为好莱坞贡献了约25部作品，而其中票房最好的是他的《尖峰时刻》系列。三部《尖峰时刻》前后共9年时间，期间成龙也交出不少“劣作”，《80天环游世界》投资1.1亿美元，但最后只收得2400万美元。他联手陈嘉上和黄秋生的《飞龙再生》最后却以2200万美元收尾，直到今年年初还“贡献”了票房口碑惨败的《邻家特工》。56岁的成龙被认为“已经打不动了”，而看着一张已经无法掩饰老态的脸庞在银幕上嬉笑打闹，也让不少观众觉得很不习惯，尽管成龙依旧很卖力。所以，成龙此番“红回美国”只是昙花一现还是真正回归，也有不少人提出了保留意见，认为“值得观望”。
